The Invacare PinDot ContourU Seating Simulator (Shape Sensor base frame with ContourU molding attachments) is a clinician-focused simulation system designed to capture a client’s optimal seated shape for custom molded ContourU seating. Using ContourU molding attachments, the clinician shapes the molding bag to simulate the ideal cushion contour; that shape is then captured and sent for fabrication of the ContourU system cushions.
Built for day-to-day clinical use and easy transport, the simulator features a durable rolling base with large wheels/casters and locks, plus adjustability to help dial in posture during simulation (seat depth, seat-to-back angle, and tilt-in-space). Adjustable/removable armrests and footrests support efficient setup and positioning.
