The ClimateLine™ heated tube is an important part of ResMed’s Climate Control humidification solution, which consists of the S9 device, H5i Heated Humidifier and the ClimateLine heated tube.
The ClimateLine tube contains a temperature sensor built into the mask end of the tube, which is automatically controlled by the Climate Control algorithm to deliver a consistent, comfortable temperature at the mask.
By keeping the air temperature in the tube steady, the Climate Control system automatically adjusts to changes in ambient conditions to maintain a comfortable humidity level. Rainout is avoided without needing to reduce the humidity delivered.
The smaller size and sleekness of the ClimateLine heated tube provides better flexibility and patient comfort.
