Increase allround wheelchair comfort with ECS.
Etac ECS seat and backrest systems can extend the service life of allround wheelchairs. Instead of replacing the chair, you can replace the backrest and seat with ECS, which means the user will be more stable and comfortable when seated. The gently contoured cushions are available with covers in two different materials, black Dartex or dark grey plush. These are available for all wheelchair widths.The backrest cushion comes in two different heights, high or low, and there are long and short models of the various seat cushions. The seat cushions are filled with memory foam or polyethylene
Easy-to-manoeuvre cushions
A single hand is all that is required to remove and position the cushion on the back tubes. Just as easy to manoeuvre and fold up as an allround wheelchair.
Adjustable backrest
The backrest is easily adjusted at the back by Velcro straps.
Contoured or flat seat cushion
Choose memory foam, which is a filling that moulds to the user's shape, or polyethylene, which is good at distributing pressure.
High or low backrest cushion
The high backrest is heightadjustable between 59 and 69 cm, and the low backrest can be adjusted between 45 and 50 cm. Available for the seat widths 35-60 cm.
